With over 58,000 children identified as needing protection from abuse in the UK in 2016*, our nationally recognised CPRR course has been updated to reflect the latest guidance on safeguarding and allow for deeper blended learning through online and face-to-face training.
CPRR aims to protect vulnerable children from abuse and neglect anywhere in the world and help save lives. This is why we have strengthened the CPRR package to apply across all countries incorporating the differing guidance and legislation on safeguarding. Click here to read more...
MedicALS, our acute Medical Emergencies course, has been extended to three days to allow for more comprehensive teaching and testing of skills required to manage acute medical emergencies.

We are delighted to announce that bookings are now open for the 2018 ALSG conference for instructors and coordinators. Being held at the Manchester Conference Centre, the theme of the conference is Education: Recognising Challenge, Supporting Learning. With global pressures and challenges in healthcare systems we're recognising the impact on instructors, candidates and centres. The conference will focus on facing those challenges, sharing best practice and maintaining and developing ALSG education programmes so they remain fit for the future.

After the success of launching our Acute Psychiatric Emergencies (APEx) earlier this year, we are running the next course on 1st and 2nd March 2018 at our Swinton Training Centre, Manchester.
APEx aims to improve the care of patients with mental health crisis in an emergency setting and supports NHS England’s five-year forward view for mental health with multi-disciplinary training for those involved in crisis, including ED and psychiatry professionals as well as nurses and other allied professionals.
