2018 ALSG Conference for Instructors and Coordinators
We are delighted to announce the 2018 ALSG Conference for instructors and coordinators will be held on Thursday 20th September 2018, with our customary social event the evening before on Wednesday 19th September 2018. Both events will be hosted at the Manchester Conference Centre.
The conference theme is Education: Recognising Challenge, Supporting Learning. With global pressures and challenges in healthcare systems we’re recognising the impact on instructors, candidates and centres. The conference will focus on facing those challenges, sharing best practice and maintaining and developing ALSG education programmes so they remain fit for the future.

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our hugely successful 'Sim-off' competition at our 2018 Conference - Education: Recognising Challenge, Supporting Learning. Teams of healthcare professionals are invited to demonstrate a 20 minute simulation that they have devised for their peers. Please complete this form and submit your abstract no later than 31st May 2018. Those selected will be notified in June 2018.

The cost of parking will be covered by delegates and located next to the venue, on Charles Street, is an affordable multi-storey car park which costs £10 for 24 hours.
If approaching the Conference Centre from the Mancunian way – drive past the entrance to the Conference Centre and take the first left down Charles Street, the car park entrance will be on your right.
If approaching from Sackville Street – drive to the end of the road and follow Sackville Street on to Charles Street, the car park entrance will be on your right.
(Please note that the entrance to the Conference Centre is on a one-way street and by car can only be reached via the Mancunian way.)
