"HMIMMS is an excellent course. The faculty were very knowledgeable, supportive and experienced in major incidents which added to the course. Having a mixture of people on the course from different positions in the hospital was excellent as it gave more insight into each other's roles during major incident. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Thank you to all involved."

"Really enjoyed the course and would like to participate as an instructor on this

Far surpassed my expectations. The trainers were excellent and all the information was relevant and useful. The table top exercises were a very good way to simulate the decision making that is required.

I loved this course. All the information was relevant and it was engaging. There was nothing in it that I felt I would have changed."

    What the candidates say

"The simulations, although stressful and nerve wracking were absolutely incredible. The learning from each one I will take back and use in my day to day practice. The actors were brilliant, the use of timeouts was so helpful."

"The whole thing. This is an incredible course I would recommend to my colleagues and resident doctors. Having a multidisciplinary faculty and group made the learning even richer."

"This course should be listed as recommended (maybe mandatory) for all trainee doctors who work in settings with CYP with psychosocial difficulties as it provides invaluable learning and I am sure will boost confidence and competence."
